This is a charming and rewarding work, that begs for
a full performance. It was edited by my good friend Ben Tobiasson, a sensitive guitarist
and composer in his own right. The first movement was even used in an independent Hollywood
film called "A House by the Sea", directed by Karl Lohninger. However, he and the film,
have dropped out of sight. I'd appreciate anyone informing me about either.

The suite is in my style of dissonant tonality, very accessible,
and the 'Simple Dance' movement is in fact a loving parody of Bach's Bourée
from his Lute Suite. The last movement is beautifully expressive and very moving. Ben loved
playing it and his wife, who hates all modern music, also admitted that it got to her! For various reasons the entire suite has not been recorded. You may hear midi sounds for the middle movements, and Ben's performances of #1 and #5 are available to you as MP3s. Also, you may download the score by clicking on the "Go" button.
