Words: Harold Munro
This is a peculiar little poem about a goblin trying
to persuade a nymph to give him a jewel she has stolen "out of the moon".
It will require a good and sensitive choir to bring it off - one which is not
afraid to hiss and howl. Being basically tonal, with expressive and quite dissonant
and avant-garde moments, it will well reward the effort of a good amateur choir. It has not yet been performed.
Duration: about 3 minutes
